I
believe the text says the following. (Please
correct me if I am wrong) "Rome
- We have photographed in the outskirts of Rome,
this Anglia Spyder prototype that belongs to Ford
Italia. The car, finished with particular care in
all details, has two separate seats and a manual
gearbox and only from the front does it have the
same design as the English Ford. The rear has
been completely redesigned with an ample boot.
The dashboard is complete with rev counter,
tachometer and water and oil pressure gauges. The
steering wheel is a three spoke affair with a
wooden rim.
It is possible that in the future the car, known
as the "Anglia Spider" will be built in
small numbers."
I
don't believe however that any further vehicles
were ever built.
