Ford
Anglia 105E - Technical - Cutaway Drawings
On
this page we look at some of the more artistic
renderings of the Ford Anglia 105E.
When the Ford Anglia was released there were no
computers or fancy graphics packages with which
to produce pretty pictures. Every drawing or
diagram of the Ford Anglia had to be drawn by
hand.

Nice examples of this
artwork are the little drawings of the Saloon,
Estate and Van that adorn the different sections
of this site.
Other more elaborate
examples of the commercial artists work appeared
in various motoring magazines and workshop
manuals. These usually consisted of fine cutaway
images of the Ford Anglia itself. In the case of
the workshop manuals these drawings helped the
owner to see the insides of his vehicle as well
as breakdown diagrams of how to disassemble and
reassemble various parts of the car.
The motoring
magazines used some very nice cutaway drawings to
help illustrate their motoring tests. Shown below
are some of the cutaway drawings that have
appeared in some of these motoring magazines over
the years.
