Anglia Dragster in action at the
"Dragstalgia" event, Santa Pod
held on 16th and 17th July 2011
The gates opened on the Firday to allow eager
racers and fans to get themselves settled for the
first ever "Dragstalgia" at Santa Pod.
The event included races from the F1 Historic
Stock Car Club, static displays of WW2 vehicles
and important historical dragsters, the usual
classes of drag races, Jet cars and a fly past
from a BBMF Hurricane. Entertainment was provided
on the Saturday night for the fans and racers
that were staying overnight at the pod.
Ron Bartlett was awarded the "Burnout of the
Weekend" Trophy. |
