Site visitor Pieter Viljoen from South Africa has sent me a photo of his Ford Anglia.

Pieter says "Pieter Viljoen here, all the way from sunny South Africa. I' m in the process of rebuilding my Anglia. I didn't want to go the restoration back to former glory route. So I decided to do an engine upgrade and even exterior/interior upgrade.

Specs now looks as follows:
Model: 1961 Ford Anglia 105E
Engine: Mazda FE3N 2.0l 16 valve motor, compression dropped to 8.0:1, fitted with T3 Turbo
Gearbox: Mazda RX7 Gearbox
Diff: Toyota LSD\par Intercooler: Mazda Rotary 13B
Exterior has been smoothed, shaved and repainted. (No door handles, extruding fuel filler cap etc.) I'm in the process of finishing off engine and gearbox fitment. I want to have an Anglia that weighs no more than 900kg's with a 200 kilowatt engine. (280 Bhp) Then to finish the interior."

Lets hope Pieter keeps us up to date with the rebuild.
